A bit about Neilson
Neilson is one of the pre-eminent thought leaders in the ecommerce. He has been at the forefront of how brands can capitalise on all the recent developments surrounding retail media and the ever-evolving commerce landscape. Starting off leading one of the largest performance marketing teams in the UK before co-founding his own successful agency and technology platform, which was funded by New Look’s founder Tom Singh. In recent years he has headed up the commerce division of the UK’s second largest retailer The Very Group, where he sat at the intersection of digital and trade – driving significant improvements to strategy, product and system.
He has a unique combination of working in major roles both agency, client and start up side and built high performing teams at scale. At IPG Mediabrands Commerce Neilson Leads commerce in EMEA and is responsible for several client relationships globally. Media Week highly commended him as one of its 30 under 30 in 2012. Notoriously competitive, he has been selected to run for Team GB both on the track and in cross-country.
